There are several ways to maintain your HIV treatment during 2 years waiting period in Taiwan

• Option1: You can buy the HIV treatment from HIV-designated hospitals in Taiwan on your own expense. However, first line treatment costs around 13,200 NTD (approx. 440 USD) for a month.

• ​Option2: You can ask your friends/family to send you HIV medicine from your home country.
  • We strongly recommend you to apply for TFDA personal use drug importation approval in advance. The detailed instruction can be found here.

• Option3: You can buy HIV medicine from online pharmacy.
  • We strongly recommend you to apply for TFDA personal use drug importation approval in advance. The detailed instruction can be found here.

• Option4: You can fly back to home country regularly to obtained treatment.

How can I get regular testing such as HIV viral load or CD4 ccount during uncovered 2 years?
