(1) Overview of HIV treatment system for foreigners

1. PLWH foreigner can access to HIV treatment free of charge just like Indonesians.
2. There is no health insurance.
3. A person can go to a hospital and start HIV treatment.
4. One does not need to register at local government before going to a hospital.

(2) Steps toward HIV treatment -For PLWH foreigners who are already diagnosed-

[Step 1] Contact a local HIV support organization. Make consultation and identify needs.

[Step 2] A local organization contacts Spiritia Foundation.

[Step 3] Spiritia Foundation identifies a hospital which meets the needs of a client.

[Step 4] Spiritia Foudation accessing to the doctor and hospital or private clinic which can provide to give the support.

[Step 5] Then following the process until the client got the treatment without any problem facing in the process.

(3) Obstacles PLWH foreigners might face

1. There is no problem because there is no policy to stop them to get the treatment and access yet.
